Sent to Mr & Mrs Clare Mackhob in Burlington, Iowa, from Mother

Sunday Eve
Dear Pearl & Clare. Well well now what have I done to keep off your corresponding list? Hope your well. We are having a little winter. Cold and some snow. Edna eat dinner with me today. I’ll invite you over for next Sunday and we’ll have turkey. Be sure and let me know so I make reservations for you. I had a letter from June perty much the same thing. How’s [illegible]. Grandma said something about his eyes being black and his car wrecked so bad it didn’t do a better job. Well do write me some time. I still live at the same place.
Love, Mother
