Dear Carl:-
Just a card to let you know am alive. Went to see about a train for home this P.M. I can get a train out of here Wed A.M. at 10:40 down the rally wad [sp] and will arrive in Los Angeles at 7:40 Thursday morning. If I come on the coast I would get in Los at 11 o’clock if we were on time. And I’m afraid I could not get to L.B. that night. So will come on. [illegible] With love, C
